The annual Aero Techno Cultural
Festival of School of Aeronautics, Neemrana, wrapped up this year’s treat on
Saturday, October 10, 2015. Beginning from Thursday, October 8, the festival lasted for three days
and saw plethora of events hosted and organized by the family members of Laxmi
Narain Verma Memorial Society Group of Institutions. The theme this year was MOTIVATION. The fest
witnessed a participation of more than 1500 students coming from various
colleges across India.

Various academic clubs organized
the management events related to their domain; the sports and cultural
committees helped in conducting various sports and cultural events whereas the
hostel and mess committee coordinated finance and venue management.

Students poured into the premises
in large numbers on Day 1 to participate in various sub categories of Cultural,
Sports, Technical, Art and Interest category. The event was inaugurated by Dr.
Vivek Anand, Principal, and St. Margaret Engg. College, Neemrana. After the
Flag Opening Ceremony, all the students and faculty members went in full bloom
to start the event.

Day 2 of the festival was marked
by final rounds of Cultural and Sports category events which had great deal of
range from Music, Dance, Photography, Drama, LIVE Performances, Football,
Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket, Races and many more such events. The
excitement continued well into the evening, when students showcased their
talents and creativity on the stage. The cynosure, however was the Qawali
Performance and Kavvya Hansi Sammelan, where students made the audience stick
to their seats till the end of the function.

The final day and the day for
which everybody worked day and night on their toes saw people from across India
in large numbers. Management body, Staff and Students of School of Aeronautics
were immensely happy to have Dr. N.P. Kaushik, Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor of
RTU as the Chief of Guest. Also they felt privileged to have numerous Guest of Honors
and other distinguished guests from Aviation fraternity. The final day also
brought old friends together during the Student Alumni Meet, where mentors
expressed hope, courage and love to their mentees. Highlights of the day were
the STAR FRESHER 2015 Competition and Live Performance of the Band (144 The
Band by Barun Dutta and troop) Final round of the Star Fresher 2015 was held on
the stage with On the spot topic composition and Question Answer round by
faculty members and audience. The festival concluded with Prize Distribution
Ceremony wherein Mr. C.C. Ashoka, Director and Ms. Vijay Laxmi Verma, Deputy
Director awarded the faculty members and students for their undying hardwork
for the Academic Session 2014-2015. The fest received a great support,
enthusiasm and encouragement from Mr. C.C. Ashoka, Director L.N.V.M. Society
and other faculty members and students.
